Bella and Julie Keller, directors
Bella: There simply are no words to express the love, passion and community that exists among the Belladance family. Leading this studio and these dancers is one of the greatest privileges and honors I have ever experienced.
My passion for dance was ignited before I was even able to walk. There is not a single time in my life where I do not remember looking up to my mom and the way she taught her dancers, as well as the way she has taught me. I began dancing with my mom at the age of two and began competing at the age of five. I was then a seven-year member of the Highlands High School Dance Team, and competed on their Varsity team for all four years in high school. I helped win multiple titles at the NDA Nationals in Orlando, Florida; as well as other state and regional titles.
I continued to further my dance education by studying to earn a Dance BFA through Northern Kentucky University. I further contributed to the dance community through my involvement as the Vice President in the honorary dance fraternity Delta Chi Xi. In 2021 I was accepted into one of the most prestigious tap programs, Jacobs Pillow, where I trained under the most renowned tap artists.
While teaching is my passion, I will never cease being a student in this art. I intend to continue growing under valuable instruction of teachers in the area to guide both myself and my students in areas of tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. Creating relationships that foster both love and discipline is my priority. My ever growing passion for dance has brought me so much joy and I hope to pass that same feeling along to all of my dancers at Belladance!
