Julie and Bella Keller, directors
Julie has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northern Kentucky University and has been teaching, instructing, and directing in the dance field for the past twenty-nine years.She served as the co-owner and director of Le Dance Studio, which is now closed. She was also a former instructor for UDA, Universal Dance Association, instructing high school dance and pom squads throughout the Midwest. Julie is certified through DEA, Dance Educators of America, and is a member of IDEA, International Dance-Exercise Association. As a creative director, Julie strives to train dancers with a disciplined curriculum while maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. Julie prides herself on her top-notch staff, that consistently focuses on a high standard of training.
In her personal life, Julie and her husband Dave have two children, Bella and Luke. They enjoy traveling, camping and spending time with their ever growing extended family. Working and directing alongside her daughter, Bella, is a dream come true.
Bella has been dancing with her mom since the age of two. She has been a member of the competition team since she was 3 years old, which consistently receives high gold and platinum awards at competitions. Bella was also a seven year member of the Highlands High School Dance Team. This team participated on the regional, state, and national level. Bella competed on the Varsity team for all four years in high school and helped her team win multiple titles at the national competition in Orlando, Florida. Bella has played key dance roles in various theatre shows such as Footloose. She has received additional dance training in tap, ballet, contemporary and improv from professional dancers and choreographers across the USA. Bella attended Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program, an exclusive program that strives to enhance Kentucky's next generation of civic and economic leaders. She is attending Northern Kentucky University on a Governor's Scholarship and majoring in Dance and Entrepreneurship. Her ever growing passion for dance has brought her so much joy and she hopes to pass that same feeling along to all of her future Belladancers!
